St. Patty Pub Crawl on Bike

Thanks to my sis and bro Jen and Joe's lovely organization,  I had a fantastic St. Patrick's Day this year.  We had a pub crawl on bike.  We drank, we biked and we had tons of fun!

These are the bars we hit: The Fox & Hounds, Stout, Laurel Tavern, Mexicali, Rocco's Tavern, The Oyster Bar, The Fifth, Tiki No, The Red Door, Timmy Nolan's

Also, these two were celebrating their wedding anniversary, that yours truly have shot.  Congratulations! :D

While this was far from being a Kerem Hanci Photography Brides & Grooms Reunion, here are the amazing organizers and planners of this fun-filled day, of whom coincidentally I've shot their wedding too:

My preferred beverage was black & tan throughout the day, except two occasions.  When I saw Weihenstephan Abbey on tap at Stout, I couldn't resist.  Having only tasted the bottled version of this delicious beer before, I dumped the B&T for a second and went with this liquid gold which comes from the oldest brewery on Earth.

Weihenstephan Abbey, Black & Tan

The second exception was Rocco's Irish Car Bomb...  Everyone had one.

And, yes, we were on bikes.

Nadim trying to record the only left turn we had throughout the ride.

Joe and I captured by the masterful eye of Mr. Karl at The Fifth.

And the rest of the gang...

We had so much fun, I wish we had an edited video of that day set to rocking Irish music so you could see!

What?

Did the organizers have thought of that by acquiring a GoPro with all the necessary accessories and editing the final product?!?

Why, you don't say! Have a wonderful weekend!

Shooting The Heads... Headshots...

In April, Kerem Hanci Photography will start a series of events that will be specifically designed and catering to individuals and families.

The first one is a "Headshot Marathon". For a fraction of the price of a headshot, you will have an established photographer, who started the business (at least the Los Angeles part of it) as a headshot photographer.  Friday Fun Fact: my first company's name was Shoot The Head.  I still have the trademark for the name and the logo!

These events will take place in the beautiful Blue Buddha Studios.

So, if you are in need of headshots please email me or call me and I will send you more information as it becomes available.
More on the family portraits later!

A Birthday Celebration and Heroes Running LA Marathon

Last Saturday, we celebrated my daughter's 3rd birthday.  Needless to say, this was one of the milestones and my wife did a phenomenal  job preparing everything, inventing a theme (super heroes) and cooking for our loving friends and family who joined us braving the very rainy Los Angeles day.

A HUGE thanks go to Arax and Rooben who selflessly opened their lovely home to us and to our guests.  I mean, they even had a cotton candy machine... What?!?

Another super duper thanks go to another amazing couple, Burçin & Shai, who dressed up in awesome costumes and made my daughter's day!  She was raving about Birthday Fairy visiting her with Super Santa for days.  How many kids (AND parents) have that for their birthday as a surprise?... And Super Santa had even gifts for ALL the kids... How thoughtful and how awesome is that?!

I also would like to acknowledge my brother Joe and my sister Jen who will be running the Los Angeles Marathon this Sunday.  They raised a considerable amount of money for St. Jude Children Hospital and ran 350 miles in preparation of the 26.2 of this coming Sunday...  Here are couple of photographs of these heroes...  Good luck on the Los Angeles Marathon.  I know you will be just fine and you already made us all proud.

And lastly, happy birthday my angel. I love you!  And I definitely live for that smile!!!
